Unified Health is currently recruiting Occupational Therapists to complete our talented Southern NSW and ACT Allied Health Hub. It will consist of a community based role with opportunity for diverse experiences through the other arms of our organisation including Residential Aged Care and Private Practice.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your main role will include:

  • Providing high level clinical services including client assessment and treatment, therapy, equipment prescription, home assessment and modifications.
  • Running of educational groups and developing unique programs and resources for our clients/referring partners.
  • Providing services to the elderly and older adult population with opportunity for exposure and expansion into other client groups.
  • Completing high standard reporting and recommendations, working collaboratively within a team and with our referring partners to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
  • Additionally you will have opportunity to gain experience and skills in other areas of our organisation including private practice and residential aged care.
  • You will also have the opportunity to progress into a supervisor/senior role and be at the forefront of making changes to the delivery of allied health care services.

Skills & Experience:

The successful applicant must:

  • Hold a current AHPRA registration or the ability to soon obtain
    Have the capacity to work autonomously and cohesively in a team
  • Possess the drive to make a difference
  • Be passionate about quality OT service delivery
  • Have excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Be highly organised and efficient
    Have a current driver's licence and reliable car
